Happy 2021 to all families from St. Mary! We hope everyone enjoyed a peaceful and rejuvenating Christmas break.
Many thanks to all families for their efforts to support online learning, at this time.

Students are encouraged to get outside when they can during virtual learning. We appreciate that all students will need a break from their screen and we encourage them to get fresh air.

If you require a device, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher and they will forward the request.

Teachers are busy assessing and evaluating student work, at this time of year as they begin to prepare for Second Term Report Cards.

Monday February 1st, 2021 is a Professional Activity Day for teachers to work on report cards, there is no school for students on this day. Report Cards go home to parents electronically on Monday Feb. 22nd. Interviews will be held that same week.

Finally, we ask that you support our Catholic Parent Council Fundraiser “Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits”, available for purchase now through School Cash Online. The fundraiser runs from Jan. 4th – Feb. 3rd. Pick up will be held at a separate location from our school due to Covid restrictions. Details will be provided later in the month.
Our goal includes raising money to purchase swings for our school yard.

We continue our efforts to rebrand our school. Many thanks for purchasing Spirit Wear in December! Students also received a school pencil at Christmas with our new hashtag:  #stmarycelebratingstrengths.

We ask that you like our Facebook page and please follow us on Instagram (@stmarycatholicschoolcp) and Twitter (@stmarycp) for regular updates.

Thank you again for your continued support as we strive to celebrate our strengths with Helping Hands, Open Minds and all done with a Loving Heart!

Yours in Catholic Education,
Karen Carriere
